16. Peace, justice, and strong institutions

The importance of “promot(ing) peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provid(ing) access to justice for all and build(ing) effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels” relies on the implementation of compelling actions as the increase in civil security to reduce conflict and violence, enforceable laws that provide justice and prevents and dissuades corruption (United Nations, 2015).
